Sometimes it's important to speak into existence my intentions and where I'm headed towards, to make it a reality.
I'm committed to completing my doctoral program by 2027, even though the journey here has been weathered with countless difficulties and moments of self-doubt. I didn't expect I'd ever finish this program. I still don't, for what it's worth, but I want to tell myself that I will finish. I will get those three letters after my name. I have a pretty clear idea of what I want to work on for my dissertation, so it's time to just work on it.
As I'm wrapping up my dissertation, I want to prepare for what comes after, and that's going to be working on my co-op full-time. I'll need to start laying the groundwork for it (such as filing for incorporation), and it's going to be a huge commitment that will probably take all of my time and energy in the future. But I don't want to live this life wondering what could have been. Even if I fail, I want to say that I gave it a shot.
