Dropping Projects
I have a terrible habit of starting projects and dropping them before I've spent much time on them. I've been trying to be better at investing long-term time into the things I start, but a mix of losing interest and running out of steam seems to stand in my way every time.
One recent example is my idea of starting a boba directory. It takes a bit of effort to do, but once it's up and running, it can be extremely useful for myself and others. I was pretty excited by the idea at first, but once I started to invest a bit of time into it... I got tired of it. I don't know if it's fair to say that I simply got bored of it, as much as I stopped believing in myself along the way. That's something I want to get better at: believing in myself.
Hopefully I can keep up this latest trend of writing in this blog. So far most of it is just thought-vomit journaling, but I hope I can start writing more substantive posts over time.
